Bristol City are looking to add two forwards to their ranks this summer and have made their move for a Dinamo Zagreb striker who has twice snubbed a switch to Forest

Bristol City are in discussions with Dinamo Zagreb for the transfer of striker Sandro Kulenovic, a player who twice turned down the advances ofNottingham Forest.

Our colleagues at Bristol Live report that the Championship side is aiming to bolster their attacking options with two new forwards before the next season.

While a deal for the towering Croatian forward is not imminent, there’s optimism that terms can be agreed for the 24-year-old, who has represented his country at all youth levels up to Under-23.

Kulenovic, who has been on the radar of English clubs for some time, previously turned down the chance to join Forest, having been close to a move on two occasions. He chose to stay in Croatia in 2023, remarking: “If I’m going to leave Dinamo, the team must be at the top level. Nottingham doesn’t mean much to me.”
