LATEST: Will Leeds Pay That Huge Money For The Young Talent

Leeds United will pay £10million to sign Joe Rodon permanently from Tottenham this summer, according to Beren Cross.

The Leeds Live journalist has shared that it is separate from the Archie Gray deal going the other way, with Rodon ready to return to Elland Road.

Spurs will pay a guaranteed £40million for the England youth prodigy, with no clauses needed to earn that fee for the Whites.

Leeds United ready Joe Rodon transfer announcement

This is brilliant news for Leeds if they can find any from selling Gray.

Bringing in a guaranteed sum of £40million profit rather than instalments but also signing Rodon permanently after his amazing spell is great.

The Welsh international certainly found a home alongside Ethan Amapdu and Dan James, and his eagerness to join shows his commitment.

With £30million set to be in the bank alongside the sales of Tyler Adams and Luis Sinisterra earlier in the past financial year, Leeds should no longer need to sell.

If the Whites can keep Crysencio Summerville, Wilfried Gnonto and Georginio Rutter on top of Rodon sticking around, they will be favourites for promotion.

That is certainly one to watch.

In other Leeds news, a player has jetted out of the UK to put pen to paper on a deal to leave the club permanently.
