REVEALED: Will Wilfried Zaha Come Back? All To Know

Crystal Palace hoping to hold on to their prized assets but they could bring back a familiar face to Selhurst.

Crystal Palace are among a host of Premier League teams that have been offered Wilfried Zaha, with the Ivory Coast international’s future up in the air at Galatasaray.

According to the Mirror, the Turkish giants are looking to sell Zaha, who is reportedly on £300k-a-week. This season, he overcame injuries and the challenges of moving to a new country, contributing nine goals as they won the Turkish league ahead of their rivals Fenerbahce, who have responded by appointing Jose Mourinho to help bring the club back to the top.

The Eagles, along with West Ham and Wolves, have been linked to Zaha, who will have to take a huge pay cut if he wants to return to the Premier League this summer. When Zaha left the club last summer for Turkey, Palace’s chairman described him as a true inspiration to the young players and called him the greatest player in the club’s history.

He said: “I would like to personally thank Wilfried for everything he has done for this football club. He leaves as our most-capped academy graduate, our talisman, our greatest player, and he leaves lifelong friends behind. He remains a true inspiration for all our young players in the academy and at the early stages of their Palace career – all of whom dream of being the next Zaha.”

Zaha could soften the blow of losing Michael Olise

Palace will lose Michael Olise this summer, with the French forward set to join Bayern Munich after the Olympics. His departure will create a void, having proved his class with 10 goals and six assists in 19 games for the Eagles last season.

It will obviously take a big shift from the player’s side, who turned down a contract offer from Palace to move to Turkey. With the Eagles having a new manager in Oliver Glasner, it remains to be seen if he will pursue the 31-year-old or invest in a younger player.
