According to a report, Spurs could have a fourth uniform

Rumour has it that one of the top clubs in the Premier League will have four kit choices next season as opposed to three, and Tottenham Hotspur have been mentioned as a possible candidate for the move.

Since partnering with Nike in 2017, Tottenham have produced some delightful kits, with bold colourways becoming a staple of the North London club’s away and third kit options over the last few years.

Of course, there is very little diversion from the side’s traditional lilywhite home kit, and this year has been no different, with a clean, all-white kit proving very popular among the fanbase. Likewise, the navy, collared away kit has been praised by supporters.

Meanwhile, the taupe third kit has divided the Spurs faithful, with some enjoying the unique colour palette, and others not quite finding the rustic colours to their tastes.

Are Spurs having four kits next year?

Historically, Premier League sides have had three kits to choose from over the course of a season, but now, it seems one team in the top flight will have four in the 2024/25 campaign. That’s according to Footy Headlines, who claim one of the top teams in the division will introduce a fourth kit next term.

The teams cited in the article are: Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur.

It is said the team in question “will use the fourth kit as a regular choice, similar to French giants PSG and its Jordan fourth jerseys.”

Chelsea are used as an example in the matter, with the Blues opting to introduce a fourth kit back in the 2019/20 campaign.

Spurs Web Opinion

This is something I can only really imagine Nike doing, and given how commercially driven Daniel Levy is, I can definitely see Spurs being the team to go for the fourth kit. I really wouldn’t be surprised if Jordan, after cutting ties with PSG, were to move on to Spurs as a special edition kit next year.
