he might not even be registered, £32m player is finished
Tottenham have some work to do in terms of selling players this month.
Two new signings have arrived, and now, Spurs are right on the brink in terms of non-homegrown players allowed in their squad, so they need to chop some of their deadwood.
Eric Dier could be on his way out, and another player who could also go is Sergio Reguilon.
Indeed, according to Alasdair Gold, speaking on his YouTube channel, Reguilon is a player that has no future at Tottenham, and he expects him to go this month.
Interestingly, Gold noted that Reguilon probably won’t even be registered at Spurs if he does, for some reason, stay around the squad.
Reguilon has no future
Gold shared what he knows about the £32m man.
“Yesterday has taken them one player over the 17-man limit (of non-homegrown players) because Sergio Reguilon is back as well, but from what I understand Reguilon also has no future at Tottenham Hotspur, even if for some reason he sticks around they probably won’t register him,” Gold said.
Shame
It’s a real shame that it’s come to this with Reguilon, because, at one point, he looked like such a promising player.
By the sounds of it, there’s a deal to be done here for Reguilon, and for most teams in the Premier League, going after a player with this sort of pedigree really wouldn’t be a bad idea.
Sadly, it sounds as though Reguilon has indeed played his last game for Tottenham.
