Nottingham Forest recently made enquiries about Wolves striker Sasa Kalajdzic before he signed for Eintracht Frankfurt on loan.

Well, it would appear that Forest are going to try and land another striker during the January transfer window.
With Taiwo Awoniyi currently injured, Chris Wood is having to play every game and at 32-years-old that isn’t ideal.
Now, the netsport.uk have claimed that Forest and Fulham made enquiries for the Austrian talisman but he’s now joined Frankfurt for the remainder of the campaign.
Interestingly, there is no option to buy him and the report claims that the 26-year-old is keen to remain in the Premier League beyond the end of this season.
The player has struggled for game time under Gary O’Neil this season, scoring once in 11 appearances for Wolves and regular game time is badly required.
Dave Edwards is a huge fan of his though. He called him ‘excellent’ in September as he discussed whether the striker should be starting or not.

The striker is an uncompromising figure and stands at a staggering 6ft 7in!
Forest wanted to sign the player who signed for Wolves from Stuttgart in 2022 in a bid to bolster Nuno Espirito Santo’s strike force.
During his time with the Bundesliga outfit, he scored 24 goals in 60 appearances, whilst he also claimed 12 assists.
Who Scored lists Kalajdzic as someone with great finishing capabilities, aerial duels and heading as his main strengths on the pitch.
His time at Wolves has been hampered by a serious knee ligament injury that he suffered on his debut for the Premier League club.
He has bounced back to a certain degree but with just three goals in 14 appearances perhaps a run of games is now required for the player.
It’s quite interesting that he feels as though he’s got unfinished business with the Premier League.
As a result, it will be interesting to see whether or not Forest return to try and land him during the summer transfer window.
