CRYSTAL PALANCE
palace battles on top striker with other clubs
Crystal Palace are keen on Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah, though they face competition from another unnamed English club.
The 24-year-old has featured heavily for Mikel Arteta’s side this season and already has 965 Premier League minutes under his belt.
Questions have been raised in some quarters though as to whether Arsenal need stronger options in attack as they look to challenge for the title.
And Nketiah has interest from Crystal Palace, who are looking at how they can back Roy Hodgson in this month’s window.
Nketiah is one of Palace’s preferred options, according to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, however there is another unnamed English side also showing interest.
Arsenal are claimed to want a huge fee in order to let Nketiah go this month.
Crystal Palace have only managed to hit the back of the net 22 times in 20 Premier League games so far this season.
Next up for the Eagles is FA Cup action, with Everton due to pay a visit to Selhurst Park.
