Anthony Elanga, a player for Nottingham Forest, has boldly declared his own abilities. The winger for the Reds left Manchester United in the offseason and joined the team.

Netsport  has interviewed Elanga ahead of this weekend’s trip to Liverpool. He was required to select various elements from several players in order to create the ideal football player.

Elanga was asked to pick a player to fit the pace criteria. He chose himself after choosing the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Virgil van Dijk and Cristiano Ronaldo for some of the other options.

Everyone loves a confident player. As a result, there is no harm in Elanga choosing himself ahead of several other players in the world who would fancy themselves in a foot race.

Elanga has showcased his blistering pace during his short time at Forest. The player signed from United for £15 million and it’s quite evident that he has pace to burn.

On Saturday he set up two goals for Chris Wood during a 2-2 draw against Luton Town. Elanga is always keen to put defenders on the back foot and ultimately, Forest have got themselves a quality player.

Brennan Johnson was verified as the Premier League’s second-fastest player last season, after only Kyle Walker. He has now left for Tottenham, so Forest must fill the vacuum.

They couldn’t have chosen a better substitute with Elanga’s arrival. Elanga has one of the two fastest speeds in the Premier League this year, according netsport

This season, the 21-year-old’s task is to aim for consistency. Callum Hudson-Odoi should continue to play for the squad now that he is injured for a bit, which should greatly boost his confidence.
