Farke Speech In pre-match press conference with Leeds United
According to netsport report; Daniel Farke faces the media today in his Millwall pre-match press conference with Leeds United and here are some of the topics he may be faced with at Thorp Arch
Daniel Farke faces the media on Friday afternoon for his pre-match press conference. The Leeds United manager will take questions from television, radio, print and online journalists at Thorp Arch ahead of the Millwall clash on Sunday.
Here is a run-down of some of the main topics on the agenda for the boss to address at the training ground today.
It has been nearly two weeks since United’s last game and a decent chunk of time for those on the injury list to make strides forward. The international break had always been flagged as an important milestone for those who had been missing for the Whites this season.
Sam Byram is expected to have had the best chance of returning to full training since the Sheffield Wednesday draw, but hopes were high for Junior Firpo and Patrick Bamford based on Farke’s most recent comments about them. Liam Cooper, Stuart Dallas and Daniel James will also need asking about.
It is understood the players not on international duty were given a few days off at the start of the fortnight before returning towards the back end of last week. How has he helped to integrate the new faces? What tactical work has he been able to focus on?
Kamara and Spence condition
Glen Kamara and Djed Spence are not injured, but Farke has made comments about how little football they had played through pre-season and into the new campaign. There was caution around handing them full Leeds debuts too soon, but the clamour for their integration will only grow.
Farke could be asked how far away they are from the sharpness he needs to see before making it into his XI, especially around Archie Gray’s minutes being managed and Spence’s impact against Wednesday.
Gray management
Gray has been withdrawn from England under-19 duty since we last heard from Farke. The German could be quizzed on where the 17-year-old is at with his condition and how they hope to manage him through the next few games.
There has only been one press conference since the end of the transfer window, so Farke is yet to be pushed on everything from the last few hours of trading. Lewis Bate and Darko Gyabi stand out as players who need regular football, but seem a long way down the pecking order at Elland Road now.
Farke could be asked about how he plans to keep them developing with virtually Premier League 2 football all they have, given exits did not materialise during the window.
