Manchester City hold an interest in Leicester City midfielder
Manchester City hold an interest in Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and could make a move should former Leeds United man Kalvin Phillips leave the club, According to netsport.com.
Premier League champions Manchester City reportedly hold an admiration for the 24-year-old and could make a move depending on being able to offload England international Phillips. The Foxes are one of only a handful of clubs to still maintain a 100% record having already turned over Huddersfield Town, Coventry City and Cardiff City in the Championship as well as a victory over struggling League One side Burton Albion in the EFL Cup
Dewsbury-Hall has played a key role in this fantastic start to the season having played in all available league minutes whilst also chipping in with two goals and an assist. Treble-winning manager Pep Guardiola is understood to be a huge admirer of the player, and with key injuries to the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and John Stones, there will likely be improvement to come to fill the gaps left by the huge stars.
Phillips will have to move on after a disastrous spell since joining from Leeds United to allow the interest to materialise into a move. Liverpool have been linked with a move for the player, however, there is still no clear destination and it is unlikely that a move could happen soon. Despite this Manchester City sit second in the table having won their opening two games of the season.

It never really worked for Kalvin at Manchester City and whether they can offload him may well hold the key as to whether Leicester City can keep hold of one of their top talents. When Pep wants a player it is rare that he misses out unless one of his rival sides throws stupid money at a deal just to get it over the line. Dewsbury-Hall would fit the club like a glove and provide vital cover for the injury-hit midfield.
