2026 CB Khary Adams Talks Notre Dame, Official Visits And It Is The Most…

After announcing a Top 10 last month, Khary Adams‍ has now locked in six official visits.

“It’s pretty solid,” the 2026 Maryland cornerback tells ISD. “I’ve got some good top schools, so that’s good.”

Adams has officials set to Auburn (May 16th), South Carolina (May 30th), USC (June 3th), Penn State (June 6th), Notre Dame (June 13th) and Oregon (June 20th).

“It’ll help me a lot because with the official visits, I’ll be getting on campus more,” he says. “Just getting around guys being around campus more will just better help me make a decision.”

Each school made the cut for its own reasons.

“Auburn, I know a lot of people going there,” Adams explains. “They talk about the coaches and say it’s a great environment and that it’s the place to be.”

The Gamecocks were in on Adams from the start.

“They showed love Day One,” he says. “I’m supposed to be out there for spring or Junior Day. The coaches show good love and it’s a good environment.”

He’s been to Happy Valley to see Penn State multiple times already.

“I like the school,” he says. “I like the coaches, good culture up there, so just getting around there more. Definitely one of my top schools just getting around the guys.”

Adams has been to South Bend as well and also likes the coaches and culture at Notre Dame.

“Coach Freeman and what he’s doing up there, it’s crazy,” he continues. “He’s turning the program around. The coaches are great, good love. It’s a great program overall and the academics are amazing.”

He doesn’t have any specific questions he needs answers about with the Irish.

“I wouldn’t say I need to learn anything,” he says. “I pretty much know a lot about the program. It would just be more so getting around the guys, getting around the culture more, seeing what that’s like.”

Oregon and USC have also shown a great deal of attention to Adams and he’s excited about his West Coast swings as well.

Adams isn’t quite ready to close the door on everybody else.

“I wouldn’t say it’s a final six,” he says. “Some things might change, but it’s pretty much final, but I can’t make any promises.”

He plans to make his final decision this summer and will base it on a number of factors.

“How they plan to use me in the defense, playing early and then whichever one feels like home,” he says.

“I think I’m really versatile, so any way that could get me maybe multiple positions or just in a multi-scheme type of defense would be good.”
