The winter window is not yet underway but there is already plenty of transfer news coming out of Leicester City.

Leicester City are expected to be active in the 2025 winter window as they look to boost their chances of Premier League survival.

Ruud van Nistlerooy has already spoke about Leicester transfers recently and there are a growing number of players being linked with a move.

Crystal Palace stance on Leicester City loanee Odsonne Edouard

Odsonne Edouard joined the Foxes on a season-long loan from Crystal Palace on deadline day in August.

However, after failing to score a single Premier League goal, Crystal Palace could recall £14m man Edouard, and look to sell him on in January.

Leicester City dealt Giorgi Chakvetadze transfer blow

Reports emerged this week that the Midlands outfit were showing an interest in Watford midfielder Giorgi Chakvetadze.

However, we understand that it is very unlikely Chakvetadze will leave Watford in January despite links to the top flight.

Leicester are rivaling Manchester City for Abdukodir Khusanov, who is currently excelling in France with RC Lens.

A number of other clubs, including Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur are also keen, with the Ligue 1 team looking to net between €25-30m (around £20-£30m) for his services.

 

Leicester eye January transfer for Ben Godfrey

With the Foxes currently having the third-worst defence in the Premier League, it’s not surprising to see so many defenders linked.

One of the more high profile names said to be of interest to Van Nistelrooy and co. is Ben Godfrey.

Atalanta BC are open to offers for Leicester target Godfrey, with former Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri also keen to bring him to his current side, AS Roma.

Ruud van Nistelrooy eyes Miguel Almiron

After Abdul Fatawu suffered a season-ending injury, a new winger should also be a priority for the relegation-threatened team.

And at least one option appears to have been looked at, with reports this week claiming Leicester want to sign Miguel Almiron from Newcastle on loan.
