All you need to know ahead of Birmingham City’s EFL League One fixture with Exeter City

Birmingham City take on Exeter City at St James Park in a midweek EFL League One fixture.

Blues hope to issue a response after losing to Shrewsbury Town at the weekend. Exeter lost to Wrexham which allowed the Welsh side to overtake Birmingham in the league table. Here’s all you need to know ahead of the fixture

When is Exeter City v Birmingham City?

Exeter City and Birmingham meet on Tuesday, November 26. Kick off is at 7.45 pm

Can I get tickets?

This fixture is once again sold out to away supporters. Exeter is Birmingham’s furthest trip of the season, but supporters have snapped up all 1,128 tickets.

If you’re a home supporter, according to Exeter, there were are limited tickets left in the home end. Less than a hundred ‘Big Bank’ tickets are available. Tickets can be bought via this link.

Will it be on TV and can I stream it?

Yes. The match will be shown on the streaming service Sky Sports+. If you’ve got a Sky box, simply search for Birmingham City in your TV guide and you should find the game. The broadcast will go live around 15 to 30 minutes before kick-off.

Jay Stansfield had a successful loan spell down in Devon with Exeter. Stansfield’s dad Adam played for them from between 2006 to 2010 and was highly thought of. Stansfield Jnr scored nine goals in 36 games in the 2022/23 season, returning to the club he began his career. His big money move in the summer made Exeter over £1m in sell-on-fees.

Luke Harris will also be familiar to the home faithful. He spent the second half of the 2023/24 season at St James Park, and made 21 appearances, scoring four goals.

Emil Hansson, Scott Wright, Lee Buchanan and Alfons Sampsted are all missing through injury for the visitors

As for Exeter, Johnly Yfeko, Yanic Wildschut and Patrick Jones are missing for them. Ryan Woods served a one game ban after picking up a red card against Lincoln City, but should return. Woods was a Birmingham player for a season in the 2021/22 campaign.
