LATEST: NFL trade Deadline are going to start heating up soon
We are three weeks into the NFL season and trade talks are going to start heating up soon before the trade deadline passes. As far as the Buffalo Bills, they look like legit contenders and are even playing the best football out of any team in the league. They have scored 30+ points in their last three games and have had back-to-back 20+ point victories over the Dolphins and Jaguars.
While they are having a fantastic start to their season, that is not the same story with others. Just within their own division, the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots find themselves at 1-2 and things look like they will continue to go downhill than up.
Both teams started at 1-0, but have dropped their last two games. The Dolphins were blown out by the Bills and then lost Tua Tagovailoa for the foreseeable future due to a concussion. They would then fly to Seattle and put on a pathetic performance. As far as New England, they had a back-and-forth game against the Seahawks but lost in overtime. Week 3 against the New York Jets was arguably one of their worst performances in recent memory.
The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday, November 5th at 4PM ET and it will not be surprising to see a great amount of moves before the deadline passes. As far as AFC East teams making trades, both the Patriots and Dolphins are linked as potential suitors to trade for Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson.
Kristopher Knox from Bleacher Report created a trade block board that featured Wilson heading out of Pittsburgh and possibly to Miami or New England.

Russell Wilson coming to the AFC East would be a gift for Buffalo Bills
Wilson suffered a calf injury prior to Week 1, which gave Justin Fields the opportunity to start in his absence. However, Fields looks like a decent quarterback with the Steelers and he has them standing at 3-0 on top of the AFC North. If Fields continues to be the starter, it would make complete sense for the Steelers to explore a Wilson trade.
With Miami having the worst quarterback situation in the NFL and New England struggling with Jacoby Brissett, fans should expect trade talks at the minimum. Wilson has fallen off a Super Bowl trajectory since being traded out of Seattle. His time in Denver was a tenure to forget and the Steelers were more than likely just a quick stop before Wilson hits free agency next offseason.
If Miami or New England end up trading away draft capital for a quarterback who has been heavily limited and possibly won’t be on the team next season, it would be a great gift for the Bills.
