Gary O’Neil has confirmed that three key Wolverhampton Wanderers players are doubts to face Newcastle United.
Mario Lemina, Rayan Ait-Nouri and Yerson Mosquera will face late fitness tests for Sunday’s Premier League clash with Newcastle.
The Wolves trio have trained with the first team but didn’t complete full sessions following various injury and fitness concerns. It’s hoped all three can feature against Eddie Howe’s side this weekend but there’s no certainty over starts, which prompts several selection dilemmas.
When asked by our sister publication, Express & Star, O’Neil said: “Everyone is OK and in a decent spot. Mario and Rayan haven’t trained much and there will be late checks on them. Yerson had cramp in both calves and didn’t train fully, but there’s no injury.”
