Birmingham City Are Ready To Tighten Their Squad As Club Went To Sign Another EFL “Top” Striker, Coach Is Happy
Birmingham City poised to land Sheffield Wednesday attacker target
Birmingham City are poised to sign reported Sheffield Wednesday target Scott Wright from Rangers, according to a report by The Scottish Sun.
Birmingham City are set to lure the Scottish Premiership man down the border to England before the end of the transfer window. They have until the deadline on Friday to get a deal over the line.
Wright, 27, has been on the radar of Championship side Sheffield Wednesday this summer, as per a report by Football Insider. However, nothing has materialised in regards to a potential switch to Hillsborough.
This has paved the way for the Blues to now swoop in as they look to bring him to the Midlands over the next couple of days, as per The Scottish Sun. They were relegated to League One last season after finishing in the bottom three along with Rotherham United and Huddersfield Town and are eyeing an immediate promotion back to the second tier.
