Tottenham plot ambitious move for €55m Portuguese international endorsed by Pep Guardiola

Tottenham Hotspur have yet to make any noteworthy additions to the team this summer but need to act soon if they are to nail down a Champions League spot next season having finished fifth in 2023/24.

The club has decided to fully back Ange Postecoglou and it is expected for them to bring in an attacker sooner rather than later in the transfer window.

that the Lilywhites are impressed by Wolverhampton Wanderers star Pedro Neto, who has been a revelation over the last few years with the Premier League side. Pep Guardiola is a huge fan of Neto and even called him ‘an incredible player’

The likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are all monitoring the former Lazio star alongside Tottenham for the forward. Neto is expected to imminently leave Molineux and join one of the world’s biggest clubs.

Neto would be a fantastic addition at Tottenham, not least for a manager like Postecoglou who embraces dynamic players. The Portuguese international is primarily a right winger but can play across all roles in the final third whilst being a handy attacking midfielder too.

Spurs are currently lacking any influential wingers barring Son Heung-min and Dejan Kulusevski. The Korean is also on the wrong side of the 30s and thus, Neto can be an eventual replacement.
