According to reports in Turkey, Everton have just received a boost in their pursuit of a former Premier League star.

The Toffees have already struck deals for Iliman Ndiaye and Tim Iroegbunam this summer but they are showing no signs of slowing down.

The recent £50million sale of Amadou Onana to Aston Villa will inflate Everton‘s budget for the rest of the window, and it seems reinforcements could soon be on the way.

HITC already revealed earlier this month that Everton are closing in Jesper Lindstrom on an initial loan deal.

Napoli have already made a move to replace the Danish winger by identifying David Neres as a new £34million target.

But reports from Turkey suggest Everton can now advance with another deal this summer.

Everton target put up for sale

According to Turkish outlet Sporx, Galatasaray have been unable to bring in new signings this summer and therefore could sell Davinson Sanchez and Baris Alper Yilmaz.

HITC revealed that Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle United are interested in Yilmaz this summer.

The report adds that both Everton and Napoli are interested in former Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez.

It follows a report from Ajansspor earlier this month that Everton made a 25million Euro (£17million) bid for Sanchez.

Everton move for Davinson Sanchez

Sanchez could be closing in on a return to the Premier League after leaving Tottenham to join Galatasaray last September.

The 28-year-old centre-back spent six years in North London before leaving under Ange Postecoglou.

The new Spurs boss completed the signing of Micky van de Ven which pushed Sanchez further down the pecking order.

However, Sanchez was admired by former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, who hailed him as “a beast” back in 2018.
