HITC understands that West Ham United have dismissed an enquiry from a Premier League rival for English winger Jarrod Bowen.

Jarrod Bowen has been selected in England’s squad for the European Championship in 2024 and the West Ham United winger has featured for the Three Lions in both games.

Bowen had an outstanding season at West Ham with the former Hull City ace scoring 16 Premier League goals and providing six assists for the Hammers. As well as this, Bowen also scored one goal and provided four assists in the Europa League.

It is of little surprise to see the West Ham forward attracting attention, and HITC understands that the forward is of interest to Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham made enquiry for West Ham winger Bowen

Tottenham are understood to be looking to bolster their attacking options this summer and HITC understands that an enquiry about Bowen was made at the ‘highest levels’ between the two clubs.

However, this enquiry made by the Lilywhites was swiftly rejected by the Hammers and the East London side made it crystal clear to those at Tottenham that they would be wasting their time if they did pursue Bowen.

Sources have told HITC that West Ham informed Spurs that it would take a bid in the region of £150 million for the Hammers to even consider the sale of Bowen.

This is a fee that, perhaps unsurprisingly, is one that Spurs would not go anywhere near for the winger.
