Pascal Gross of Brighton & Hove Albion is attracting significant interest from Eintracht Frankfurt, with the German club keen to sign him in the upcoming summer transfer window.

However, Gross, who has over a year left on his contract, would need to take a pay cut to join them. This information comes from a report by Bild, which notes that Gross is aware of the strong interest from Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Bundesliga club is seeking an experienced defensive midfielder, and the 32-year-old Gross is seen as a suitable candidate. However, the decision primarily rests with Gross, and he may not make a final decision until after the Euro 2024 tournament.

Gross’ contract with Brighton expires in 2025, and Bild estimates that his transfer would cost around €5 million. If Gross chooses to return to Germany, he would need to accept a reduction in his current salary, which is a concern for Eintracht Frankfurt. They are wary that other German clubs, such as Borussia Dortmund, might also make a move for the midfielder.

Both interested clubs and Brighton will be awaiting Gross’ final decision regarding his future.
