Destiny Udogie finally speaks out on his current situation
Tottenham Hotspur have been dealt a huge injury blow after it was revealed that Destiny Udogie will miss the rest of the season.
The Italian international has taken to Instagram this evening to reveal that his season is now over after undergoing surgery and included a photo of himself in a hospital bed.
Destiny Udogie will miss the rest of the season through injury
The left-back posted the caption: “The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.
An injury brings my season to an early end. It doesn’t take away from how grateful I am to every person that has supported me this year.”
The 21-year-old made a solid impression during his first full season at the club having made 30 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham, scoring two goals and delivering three assists (transfermarkt).
Spurs are next in action when they host north London rivals Arsenal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next Sunday.

This is a huge blow to Tottenham’s hopes of breaking back into the top four this season considering the importance of the full-backs in attacking phases.
Udogie is a natural when it comes to bombing forward down the left and with the greatest respect to Ben Davies, he is a completely different type of player who is more defensively-minded.
Credit again has to go to Fabio Paratici for bringing Udogie to the club in what has proven to be a very shrewd piece of business.
