Newcastle to severely hurt West Ham as report confirms

Published

Newcastle United could be about to damage West Ham United by sealing a double deal for a super talented English duo.

West Ham face a big summer transfer window ahead, as do Newcastle, and Eddie Howe apparently plans to kick off his business with a really exciting double deal.

Hammers boss David Moyes has a lot of work to do with his squad in the summer, if he’s still in charge at the London Stadium.

Up to 12 players could leave West Ham before the start of next season, so numerous new signings will be needed, if we are to continue to fight for the European places.

However, funds certainly won’t be lavish at the London Stadium, and Moyes and Tim Steidten will have to be thrifty in their summer recruitment.

With that in mind, we’ve been dealt a major blow before the summer transfer window has even opened it seems…

If reports are to be believed, the Toon could be set to really hurt the Hammers with a double transfer deal.

With a big squad overhaul needed at the London Stadium, this could be extremely problematic for Moyes and co. Newcastle won’t be doing us any favours this summer, that’s for sure.

That’s because they’re said to be lining up a move for two English defenders.

Newcastle could seal English duo double deal

According to a report from the Telegraph, Eddie Howe wants to bring Tosin Adarabioyo and Lloyd Kelly to St James’ Park for absolutely nothing this summer.

They will both be out of contract in just a couple of month’s time, and are transfer targets for West Ham.

Kelly, 25, is seen as a priority target for Moyes, whilst Steidten is said to be a big fan of Adarabioyo, 26.

With new PSR regulations set to come in before the start of next season, West Ham may well face a problematic summer, with not much spare cash floating about.

So with that in mind, the possibility of signing Tosin Adarabioyo and Lloyd Kelly on free transfers is one that the Hammers can’t really afford to miss out on.

However, if Newcastle secure a double deal for the duo, West Ham will be right back to square one.
