Sources: Tottenham and Newcastle keeping tabs on ‘incredible’ midfielder
Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are among the clubs who are keeping tabs on Leicester City defensive midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, HITC understands.
Sources have told HITC that Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Brighton and Hove Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers all are interested in Wilfred Ndidi and are monitoring his situation at Leicester City.

Leicester are aiming to win automatic promotion from the Championship to the Premier League at the end of the season.
The Foxes are at the top of the Championship table at the moment with 88 points from 40 matches, a point ahead of Ipswich Town, who are second and have played 41 games.
HITC understands that Leicester are looking increasingly likely to lose Ndidi for nothing this summer, whether they are promoted or not, with a host of Premier League clubs keen on the 27-year-old Nigeria international defensive midfielder.
Ndidi has become a huge figure in the Leicester squad since joining in 2017 and has gone on to make over 250 appearances for the club, who are monitoring Athletic Bilbao ace Alex Berenguer.
The midfielder has been linked with the Saudi Pro League and Turkey, but he is going to have the chance to remain in England.
HITC understands that Tottenham, who against Nottingham Forest this past weekend, Villa, Newcastle, Brighton and Wolves are all keeping tabs on the situation.
What Brendan Rodgers said about Wilfred Ndidi
Brendan Rodgers worked with Wilfred Ndidi at Leicester City, and the Celtic manager is a huge fan of the 27-year-old midfielder and has previously spoken highly of him.
Rodgers said about Ndidi in November 2019, as quoted in SportsMole: “He is an incredible player. The offensive players get the credit but he does the dirty work.
“He has this brain for the game, where he can smell danger and always finds himself there. The timing of his challenge is very good and he’s up there with the top players at winning the ball back.
“When you play a pressing game you need someone like Wilf. His passing is good too, he’s always smiling.”
