Rangers player slated to return – report

Ryan Jack is expected to make his return to the Rangers first team post his injury after the international break, according to the Scotsman.

The news outlet reported on 20 March that while the midfielder will be missing Scotland’s games, Philippe Clement is likely to have a selection boost on the other side of the break.

The 32-year-old was once again ruled out by Clement due to injury at the start of last week.

Ryan Jack is on his way out of Rangers at the end of the season?

Despite Jack’s talent and contributions, the club must make strategic decisions regarding their finances, particularly concerning his contract renewal.

Despite being offered a new deal last summer, the Scotland international’s recurring injury issues raise concerns about the value of investing in his future with the team.

Instead of committing further resources to Jack’s contract extension, Rangers should prioritise reallocating those funds to strengthen other areas of the team.

By not renewing Jack’s contract, the Ibrox outfit could potentially save significant wages that could be utilised elsewhere, such as securing new signings or retaining key players whose contracts are expiring.

This approach would allow them to build a more robust and sustainable team for the future, ensuring depth and quality across all positions.

In constructing a team for the future, Gers could focus on nurturing young talents from their academy or investing in promising players who offer longevity and consistency without the injury risks associated with Jack.
