Steven Naismith seeks Revenge for Rangers FC

Steven Naismith insists Hearts will go on the attack against Rangers as he targets revenge at Ibrox.

The Jambos have won 11 of their last 12 games and have picked up a stunning 28 points from their last 10 Premiership fixtures. Hearts cruised to a comfortable 2-0 win at Celtic Park in December and Naismith wants his side to put in a similar performance in Govan. The Tynecastle side are still reeling from their last visit to Ibrox when a stoppage-time double from James Tavernier robbed the visitors of all three points.

Naisy, though, believes his side are good enough to topple the Premiership leaders and vowed the Gorgie outfit will take the game to Philippe Clement’s side.

He said: “We’ve had confidence for a good while now, we’ve had many challenges over the last three or four months and we’ve risen to the m.

“We were really disappointed when we went away from Ibrox the last time and didn’t take anything from the game after what was a very good performance. So we want to go back there and show that we’re not just turning up, we’re there to compete and try and get the win.”
