Rangers fans right to be buzzing after Premier League quality announcement
The Rangers board has come under criticism in the past for a multitude of sins but their commitment towards trying to improve Ibrox and the matchday experience can’t be questioned.
The famous ground has had a fortune spent on it, bringing it up to scratch and then upgrading it and for all that fans want to see money spent on the playing squad, it has been an essential investment.
Rangers have a stadium to be proud of in Ibrox but now, after an announcement from CEO James Bisgrove, attending games is about to become a lot more user friendly.

The official website has improved but still needs a bit of work, however, it is the ticketing process for season tickets, cup games and every other experience involved that has irked fans.
The good news is, change is afoot as explained by Bisgrove:
“We have been aware of supporter feedback around our ticketing platform for some time and have been working hard to put in place a solution that will drastically improve the user experience of supporters moving forward.
“Last year, we conducted a rigorous tender process and carefully evaluated needs, both internally and externally, from supporters.
“The comprehensive search led us to SeatGeek, and we are looking toward providing our loyal and dedicated fanbase with an enhanced and slick experience from purchase through to stadium entry.”
SeatGeek are a company used by some of the biggest teams in the Premier League so it is an exciting venture for the club.
Not everything is about making money and the process of buying tickets is a fundamental aspect of football that has to be as painless as possible.
The current process can be complicated with the website frequently not able to cope with demand.
Chairman John Bennett wants Rangers fans to be able to experience best in class and that won’t happen overnight.
One by one though, the boxes are being ticked on the to-do list.
