Newcastle United and Crystal Palace could directly compete for Matias Soule in the summer as Juventus could sell

According to netspot reporters, Matias Soule emerges as a critical target for Newcastle United and Crystal Palace ahead of the summer window. The Argentine attacker is reported to be valued at around €40 million after a terrific loan spell at Frosinone, as Juventus could cash in.

Matias Soule has become a key star in Serie A this season, as his latest goal for Frosinone against AC Milan at the weekend made him the first player in the club’s history to reach double figures in the league. In the background, Juventus will be smiling at his progress, as they now have an excellent opportunity to cash in with an increased value.

Crystal Palace reportedly were willing to pay €35 million in January but might have failed with an approach. The president of Frosinone recently commented that Soule had a chance to go somewhere else. Still, the €40 million-rated Serie A attacker chose to stay put and show character to remain with the Serie A side.

However, there are enormous chances for a change of scenery in the summer, as Soule continues to attract interest in Palace and now Newcastle United. The Magpies had an interest in January, but that was probably contingent on them selling Miguel Almiron.

Almiron could leave in the summer, which could open some space in Newcastle’s squad for a new attacker, and they could target the €40 million-rated Serie A attacker. They will have the funds in the next window and add the Paraguayan’s transfer fee; they might be able to put a deal together to please Juventus.

The Bianconeri are aware of the growing interest in the 20-year-old attacker, and given their precarious financial state, they might cash in. They are aware of the competition from Palace and Newcastle, as both teams could put forward exciting projects for Soule to consider.

Palace could lose Michael Olise, with Manchester United and Manchester City competing for the French winger. Hence, they will want to sign a viable replacement, and Soule, with his performances at Frosinone, could become that player.

Hence, the summer window could bring Soule to the Premier League, as there might be more clubs beyond Palace and Newcastle in the race. Much will also depend on his decision and whether he wants to leave Juventus soon or fight for a place next season.
